Greeshma Challaram is a senior at BASIS Phoenix. She loves traveling, discovering new things, and exploring the world around her. The world always keeps her curious and pushes her to learn about the world around her.
Induja Kumar is a high schooler at BASIS Chandler. At school, she is the captain of her Speech and Debate team, and the co-leader of Ted-ed club where she teaches students about the value of making one's voice heard. Outside of school, Induja enjoys writing and speaking out about causes important to her such as feminism, civil rights, and environmental policy.
Danielle Sherman is a junior at Desert Mountain High School and hopes to pursue a career in writing and editing. She is currently a First Reader for Polyphony Lit, has been published in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards' past anthologies, and will be published in the 2019 June issue of Blue Marble Review. Born and raised in Scottsdale, she owns two dogs and too many notebooks. Aside from writing, she loves soccer, art, and her local library.
Akhila Bandlora is a senior at BASIS Phoenix, and is the co-founder and co-president of Creative Youth of Arizona. She believes one of the most effective ways young people can get involved in their community and begin discussions is through art.
Heather Laurel Jensen is a senior at Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Arizona. She is co-founder and co-president of Creative Youth of Arizona, a 2018 National Student Poet, and a curious investigator of competitive ironing. In her free time, she enjoys writing, taking photos, and reading about avant garde fashion.
